Dear APA Families,
We are thrilled to share the inspiring progress of our fundraising initiative for the African Preparatory Academy (APA-Zambia). Thanks to the collective efforts of our community, we have raised nearly $15,000 as of February 26th, moving us closer to our goal of empowering our sister school in Zambia with essential resources.
In December and January, we were honored to host the Zulu family, the dedicated founders of African Prep. Their story of determination, from starting a school in a 
chicken coop to overcoming daily hurdles has touched our hearts and ignited a spirit of support within our community. The resilience and success of APA-Zambia, now educating 240 students, is a testament to what can be achieved against all odds.
To help foster meaningful conversations at home, we have distributed a special project card to each student. This small card carries the essence of our mission and provides a convenient way for each of you to engage in our cause. With a detailed project description and QR codes for easy donation via Venmo or Credit Card, supporting our fundraiser has never been simpler. Remember, all contributions are
channeled through the American Preparatory Education Foundation (APEF), ensuring that your generosity is tax-deductible.
This initiative is a potent reminder of the impact of community and the transformative power of each contribution. We invite your family to join this effort by encouraging your children to do simple tasks or chores to earn $3 to donate. This challenge fosters a sense of responsibility and emphasizes that every little bit helps, remembering our past success when we raised funds for flushing toilets and significantly improving school facilities almost nine years ago.
