Hands for Hope Coins
How are your kind acts rippling?! We are partnering with “Hands for Hope” by “Flag for Hope” to join thousands of other Hope Warriors to flood America with kindness. Last week your student was sent home with a pamphlet and a “hope coin” with instructions on how to use it. The hope coin represents an act of kindness. As the coin moves from person to person a ripple effect is created that will have a long-lasting, positive impact on our home, school, community and country.
Please watch this video: https://youtu.be/fxs5W4SbYd4
We have a “Hope Banner” where your student can put his/her handprint and name to show completion of the challenge. Watch for parent volunteer opportunities next week to help with this fun part of the project! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0D4CAAA62DAAFF2-hands
Let’s spread kindness one small act at a time! Are you ready for the challenge?
Hiring School Lunch Employee and Seeking a Volunteer
The School Lunch program is looking for a part-time employee to work daily. Must be willing to
travel and work at any campus (mileage paid). Email lunch@apamail.org with questions, and apply
online https://www.americanprep.org/careers/
Draper 1Lunch Volunteer Opportunity -We have an urgent need for a few volunteers to help serve lunch at Draper 1. We are looking for volunteers who are available Monday thru Friday to help from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Our goal is to use these volunteers daily until they are sufficiently trained so that in case of an emergency they can cover lunch at Draper 1. Due to COVID there is a HIGH possibility that our lunch staff District wide will not be able to cover this.
Please email segli@apamail.org if you are interested.
Please help us by inviting veterans and their families to join us on LIVE.KSL.COM on November 11th at 12pm and view our D1 tribute to them. Congratulations to Elizabeth Keske (5th grade) and Koby Burton (5th grade) who will be sharing their winning essays with us on this day as well. Please see the attached flyer and pick up extras in the main office is needed.
