NEW: COVID CORNER
Each week I will be giving an update here in the COVID corner to keep everyone up to date on the situation with COVID at our school.
Here is where our case report stands as of 9/19:
-We have 0 active COVID-19 cases
-We have 1 staff member and 2 students at home quarantined based on exposure from family who have tested positive.

NEW: Term 2 Off Campus Materials Pick-up
Please read carefully the dates and times below to ensure your materials are picked up and your student is ready to continue Term 2 Off Campus:
Monday 10/05 OR Tuesday 10/06 Return Off Campus Boxes to Draper 1 Campus 8am-4pm
Thursday 10/08 OR Friday 10/09-Come into D1 to pick-up boxes with term 2 materials 8am-4pm
APA offers FREE lunches to students
Thanks to a USDA free meal waiver, American Preparatory Academy will begin offering lunch at no cost to all enrolled students who pre-order beginning Tuesday, September 15th at all school locations. All students are eligible, whether they are learning in the classroom, online or at home. How to Order
All families are asked to follow our normal procedures for ordering lunch:

On Campus Students
Lunch is served to each elementary classroom, and in the Jr. High and High School cafeterias. All meals must be pre-ordered 48 hours in advance. Lunches are prepared off-site, and is not always available upon demand. All lunches are COLD sack lunches. Microwaves are available for secondary students.
Off Campus Students
Off Campus learners may pick up meals at specific times and locations as designated by each school. Additionally, these families may pick up meals for any siblings who are 18 years of age or younger. All meals must be pre-ordered 48 hours in advance.

Temporary Benefit
USDA does not guarantee the length of this free meal waiver. They are committing to free meal service through December 31st, 2020 or until current funding runs out. Due to the potential expiration of this waiver, we are encouraging parents to continue applying for free and reduced meal eligibility so that they won’t experience a lapse in benefits.
