Join our Parent Advisory Committee
We have an exciting opportunity for you to get involved in your child's education and make a difference at American Preparatory Academy! Our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is an essential component of our school community, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers to serve on the committee for the 2023-2024 school year.
The PAC is responsible for developing the Annual School Plan, deciding how the Land Trust monies will be spent, and addressing other important matters that impact our students. Meetings are held quarterly, and the majority of the committee comprises parents.
There are no term limits for serving on the PAC, and as long as you have students enrolled in the school and are actively participating, you are welcome to continue serving. If you are interested in running for the PAC, please contact Rebecca Dailey at landtrust@apamail.org no later than Monday, May 1st, 2023, at 4 pm.
In your email, please include the following:
- Your name
- The campus you are running for
- Your child’s name and grade
- Phone number
- Email address
- A brief paragraph (70 words or less) describing why you are interested in joining the committee.
The ballot link will be included as the last page of your campus' May 5th newsletter, and elections will run through Wednesday, May 10th. The candidate with the most votes will be announced in your campus's May 12th newsletter.
