Tammy Okelberry
Tammy Okelberry has been working with youth and their families in various capacities for the past 28 years. She currently serves as the Director of Support Services for American Preparatory Academy where she is responsible for directing and implementing school counseling services for 5600+ students and families at all six APA campuses, grades K-12.
Tammy has worked at American Prep since 2012. Prior to that, Tammy was a school counselor and a licensed clinical professional counselor in Idaho. Tammy is experienced in early intervention and prevention programs to help kids avoid involvement in the juvenile justice system. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Education School Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. She served on the Juvenile Justice District V Council as co-chair in Southern Idaho for 12 years and the Horizons Community Leadership Program in Hazelton and Eden, Idaho.
